What this website collects, and what Domia keeps

Two different things: this website, which is a few pages on the internet, and Domia, which runs on hardware you own and sends nothing to anyone.

This website

No accounts, no advertising and no tracking across sites. The code of this website is public, so you can check it.

  • The contact form
Your name, address and message are sent by email to the Domia inbox so you can get a reply. The website stores them nowhere else.
  • Page statistics
The site counts page views and measures loading speed with its hosting provider's analytics. It sets no advertising cookies and builds no profile of you.
  • Your language
When you switch language, a cookie remembers the choice. It holds nothing else.
  • Video and audio
The demo videos and audio clips load from the site's hosting provider only when you press play.

This website is open source. Everything on this page can be verified in its repository.

Domia, on your hardware

The software has no account, no central server and no telemetry. What it keeps, it keeps on your node.

  • Where things live
Audio, transcripts, memories and settings are processed and stored on the machines you run. The project receives none of it.
  • What is kept, and for how long
By default the log of each turn stays on the node for up to 90 days and its audio for about a day. Facts it learned about you stay until you delete them.
  • Reading and erasing
In the console you can read every memory and every conversation of a Domia, delete them, or switch learning off for that identity.
  • What you connect
A skill reaches only the service it controls. If that service lives in the cloud, its own privacy terms apply to what it receives.

Domia is open source under the Apache 2.0 license. What it stores and what it sends is in the code, not only in this text.
